A small team with an even BIGGER heart, Escuela Sotero Figueroa inspired us in so many ways this season with their strong determination, dedication and selfless commitment to our program.
The admirably quiet, well-mannered and educated group of boys, along with their parents and coaches, volunteered their time on multiple occasions this season, assisting our staff in preparation for our 2019 FIRST LEGO League PR Championship.
This was Soterian League’s very first year with the program, becoming the only public school to recieve an award this season.
We are extremely thankful for the time these students, parents and coaches donated, and are beyond proud of The Grainger Foundation for supporting such a wonderful group of future engineers.
